It seems like...

...I have this bad habit of posting once a week and so far it's either Friday or Saturday. It really has nothing to do with the title of the blog. I couldn't think of (i.e. couldn't be bothered to) a cool name for my blog and I just figured that 'Fridays at the SUB' sounded cool. Maybe me subjecting it to such a title has somehow brought about this entity of which I am unaware but for some reason lingers in the back of my mind and as a consequence subjecting me instead to post during the end of the week, when my intentions are really to post at least twice a week. Which of course, is a load of crap.
Ramadhan has alhamdulillah been good so far, only missed 3 sahurs but managed to get through the day. It's not so bad really. At this stage in life, it's not so much the hunger or thirst that's really the test. It's the eyes, well for me at least... and I'm sure some of you can attest to that, if not, then, hats off to you buddy...or buddies, females included :P (I don't know if there's a female pronoun for buddy like how they have dudettes for dudes...maybe it's buddettes?)
For those who may be unaware, I have moved from the basement where I was living at for the last 4 years of my stint at University. No more a reclusive mole, I now have, (apart from a window to look outside) 2 other housemates or roommates if you wanna call them that, depending on whether you're in North America, U.K or Asia, I'm just trying my best not to discriminate. Recently the management running our apartments have increased the rent and as a result, my house/room-mates and I are on a mission on cutting down our electricity bill. We are aiming for an all time low. So if you would like to, donate as charity any amount you feel appropriate to the address enclosed in an e-mail I will be forwarding to you soon. Yea, sorry I sometimes go on rants like that. But seriously, we're trying to cut down on our bill, so as you can imagine, a bunch of bachelors in an apartment, sometimes it looks like the power is out. We were also considering (since our water bill is fixed AND that one of us is a mechanical engineer) that he develop some sort of homemade/home use hydroelectric mini dam to run our lights. In addition to that we might be acquiring hand held dynamoes to charge our cell phones and stationary bike-esque dynamoes to run the tv. We burn calories AND get to watch our favourite TV program - My Super Sweet Sixteen! As of this writing I'm using energy saving bulbs on my side table lamp, Ikea lagi! You don't get more energy saving than Ikea :P I'll leave you with that for now, and oh yea... Hockey is back baby!!!

Ok, ok, I'll stop it. Good luck on that. And sure, email the address soon - I'll donate my (little or worse, tak de terus!) hari raya collection this year to you. =)
